We are Clausthal!

With more than 100 universities to choose from in Germany, prospective students face an agony of choice. Which university would be best for me? Where will I find attentive support, and where are rents affordable? Our students gave a resounding answer to those questions and opted to study at TU Clausthal. Numbering more than 4,000, including 1,400 from over 90 different countries around the world, they make Clausthal an open and vibrant town that is in constant flux.

It has a unique character of its very own, with strengths and weaknesses, comforts and challenges. This is reflected in the vignettes of selected students and teachers we have collated here. We visited them and gained interesting, colorful, and private glimpses into their lives. They share their personal stories about arriving and staying here, about events and exams, and about opportunities and prospects for the future.
